A presença da Igreja Católica na Vila Liane começou em 1965, quando os padres redentoristas passaram a atender espiritualmente a comunidade local e incentivaram a construção de uma igreja para reunir os fiéis da região.

A construção da igreja teve início em 1970, quando a capela ainda fazia parte da Paróquia São José.

Com o crescimento da comunidade e a necessidade de um atendimento pastoral mais próximo, foi criada oficialmente a Paróquia Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro, em 27 de julho de 1976. O primeiro pároco foi o Padre Túlio Mondo, que conduziu os primeiros anos da caminhada paroquial.

Ao longo dos anos, diversos sacerdotes passaram pela paróquia, ajudando a fortalecer a fé, a união e a vida comunitária dos fiéis.

Comunidade Santa Catarina de Alexandria – Catarina Miró

A comunidade Santa Catarina de Alexandria foi fundada em 28 de fevereiro de 1983, e sua igreja foi inaugurada em 1º de março de 2003.

A Santa Missa na comunidade acontece aos sábados às 17h30.

Vida Pastoral

A paróquia conta com diversas pastorais e movimentos que ajudam na evangelização e na vida da comunidade, entre eles:

Pastoral Social, Catequese, Liturgia, Ministros da Eucaristia, Canto, Adolescentes, Terceira Idade, Dízimo, Pastoral Econômica, Pastoral da Criança, Coroinhas e Pastoral do Batismo.

Também fazem parte da vida paroquial movimentos como:

Apostolado da Oração, Capelinhas, Renovação Carismática, Liga Católica, Legião de Maria e Catecumenato.

Celebrações

A Novena de Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro acontece todas as quartas-feiras, às 15h e às 19h.

A festa da padroeira é celebrada todos os anos no dia 27 de junho, reunindo a comunidade em um momento especial de fé e devoção.

English Version

The presence of the Catholic Church in Vila Liane began in 1965, when Redemptorist priests started providing spiritual assistance to the local community and encouraged the construction of a church to serve the faithful in the region.

The construction of the church began in 1970, when the chapel still belonged to São José Parish.

With the growth of the community and the need for closer pastoral care, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish was officially founded on July 27, 1976. The first parish priest was Father Túlio Mondo, who led the parish during its early years.

Over the years, several priests have guided the parish, helping strengthen the faith and unity of the community.

Saint Catherine of Alexandria Community – Catarina Miró

The Saint Catherine of Alexandria Community was founded on February 28, 1983, and its church was inaugurated on March 1, 2003.

Holy Mass in this community takes place on Saturdays at 5:30 PM.

Pastoral Life

The parish has several ministries and groups that support evangelization and community life, including:

Social Ministry, Catechesis, Liturgy, Eucharistic Ministers, Choir, Youth and Adolescents Ministry, Senior Ministry, Tithing Ministry, Finance Council, Children's Ministry, Altar Servers and Baptism Ministry.

Other groups include:

Apostleship of Prayer, Capelinhas, Charismatic Renewal, Catholic League, Legion of Mary and Catechumenate.

Celebrations

The Novena of Our Lady of Perpetual Help takes place every Wednesday at 3 PM and 7 PM.

The feast of the patron saint is celebrated every year on June 27, bringing the community together in a special moment of faith and devotion.
